Google has now moved the Enhanced Conversions setup to a separate tag in GTM (Google Tag Manager).
Earlier, this setup was part of the regular Google Ads Conversion Tracking tag, but now there's a dedicated tag just for Enhanced Conversions.

This means advertisers need to update their GTM setup to make sure conversion tracking keeps working properly.
If this update isn't made, some conversion data might be missed, which can affect campaign performance.
This change was first noticed by Adriaan Dekker when he shared a screenshot showing the Enhanced Conversions option missing from the old tag.

So now, advertisers and agencies should review their GTM setup and start using the new tag.
